Maybe you can try Ksynaptics... I use Gnome and have Gsynaptics installed and I have the option to disable tap to click.
Hi, I'm on a Mac Pro and I would like to turn off tap to click. (as it's very annoying) I'm running backtrack 5 KDE.

This worked on my Dell.....Edit the /usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-synaptics.conf using nano or kate and add the line: Option "MaxTapTime" "0" to first the first section. See the screen shot below.

OK, I'll try that, TBH I couldn't find Ksynaptics, but my mouse works fine even the (two finger scroll) I'll post if it works.![]()

Yeh, lol I found that but I only know to to run a .deb haha, ok i'll look it maybe, could it make my mouse pad stop working?
If you want to learn backtrack/ubuntu or linux in general you're going to have to learn how to install from source sometime...![]()
I'll get round to it haha, just putting backtrack 5 with xp with grubAND my netbook is 100% compatible
MAC PRO WIFI has a few issues though. I will install from source soon
