Unmount the BT5 disk you have mounted, and then install the tools.
I am wondering how to install the VMware Fusion Tools I am running on my MBP for BackTrak5? Every post I read says that that after selecting install tools, the media disk that mounts is titled VMware Tools, but on mine it is titled BT5 and when I go looking in its contents there is nothing showing that matches up with the walk through that I see on-line. Can anyone help?

Unmount the BT5 disk you have mounted, and then install the tools.
When I selet install vmware tools, it mounts that disk image. If I unmount it, and then selet update vmware tools it just mounts the image again.
You need to and disconnect the CD/DVD on VMware Fusion. Click on Virtual Machine > CD/DVD > Disconnect. Then click on Virtual Machine > Install VMware Tools. It should mount the correct image now.
Got it working!!! Thank for all the help.
