BT4 final:Cannot find firmware (isl3887usb)

Hi, dear all,

I just updated to backtrack final version, however, when I find it can load P54usb driver with following message:

usb 2-3:P54usb:Cannot find firmware (isl3887usb)
firmware_helper[6145]:main:error loading 'lib/firmware/isl3887usb' 'for device '/class/firmare/2-3' with driver 'usb'
usb2-3:wrong firmware, pls get a LM87 firmware and try again.

Additionally, I boot with Livecd and My wifi adpter is Inventel:

Well that sux cause how can u download the new firmware u need and save it to a live CD?

Sounds like you need to make a persistent install and go find your firmware online , and copy it to /lib/firmware I think thats all you need to do.

I had to do this also for my Ralink firmware. Went to ralinks website got the firmware, copied the bin file, and rebooted and it works just like it always does. I have a persistent usb stick bcause i knew i would have to update drivers for- MY- adapter.
