aircrack only supports wordlists up to 2 gb. what size is the dictionary file you're using?
Hey guys.
Please excuse my newbie-ness
Using aircrack-NG to crack my WPA
I have read up and searched and cannot find the answer to my problem!
i am fairly new to linux but did all the reading i could before executing...I am attempted to crack my own WPA however it says passphrase not in dictonary..
Now this is where the fun begins...my dictionary is over 100,000,000 words and it just WILL NOT search it...
I attempted another dictonary of 10,000 works again just would not search it...
It doesn't even attempt to search for the key
Where is should come up with:
Master KEY:
Transient Key:
EAPOL HMAC:
It skips this & Just comes up instantly 'Passphrase not found' It doesnt even come up with the searching box
Does the dictonary have to have a specific layout or somthing like that?
I have tried several times for a handshake and alawys get that without an issue...
Please help?
Craig

We're these files made in windows or linux? You may need something like dos2unix if they were made in windows. Also keep them below 2GB for aircrack-ng.
