Hi lads,

I'm having so problems with getting my wireless connection to work.

It's an integrated wireless card atheros AR9002WB-1NG in my laptop (Toshiba Qosmio x770).
I have a live usb with BT5r1-KDE-32 and i first had some problems with 'start-x', but its fixable with adding '--nomodeset' in bootoptions.

Now i encouter some problems when i want to connect to my wireless connection at home.
Here are the steps i have taken:

1. Open up wcid manager
2. open up settings tab of my detected wireless connection
3. inputting my wep key
4. click connect button

Now it starts connecting but soon i get an error, mostly one of these two:
- failed to obtain ip-adress
- failed to acces wireless accespoint

I searched the aircrack website/forum and followed a driver link to linux wireless --> "ath9k_htc provides hardware support for Atheros AR9001 and AR9002 family hardware"

But at this point I realy dont know what to do ... so please help me out...

*planning to add more info (ifconfig, iwconfig, lspci, lsusb, dmesg,airmon-ng)*
