Default many thanks oh saultan of swing

i thank you good sir, after our bout i did some searching about in the forum and came across this, some of the sites you post cover topics that are a bit dates but no less important because i will have to cover them in class anyway, so with nothing else to bother you about, i will be on my merry way to figure out the ins and outs of BT and ubuntu.

    Hi,

Yes, i'm fairly new to both BT and linux, i've been using BT4 for about 2 weeks, and i've used BT3 before, but being a 10h/day working man, never had the time/money to invest more in learning linux, so, like in everything else i do, i use google, tut's and video tut's to learn and acomplish what i need.. But understanding a full new OS is not so linear to do like, in ex. "debrand a Omnia".

So, obviously, when i don't understand something, i use the support forums..

But in here i can't seem to get the support i need.. Don't take this the wrong way, i'm deeply thankful to the BT developers and to all the great tut's you've posted to our support.. And i believe maybe you're short handed in staff to provide us more in the forum.. But i get allot done just by following your tut's..

I have a couple of threads here (Beginners Forum), and 0 help to even simple yes or no questions.. And my questions are not posted from laziness, i do research without results before i post a thread, they're just not so linear questions, cuz if they were common, i had an answer before, and had no need to post.. Also, repeating myself, i'm new to linux, and have zero understanding to most of the command lines..

So i'd just like to ask, is there any other forum where i can get a bit more noob help/support to unusual BT issues?

    Thanx & Cheers!

P.S.- I don't know if this is also an issue, but i'm Portuguese and that might affect a little my researches just by using wrong words in translation.. But i've tried the Portuguese BT forum section, and also had 0 answers..
