You may have changed some files in the USM key during the use of it...
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with making a bootable USB key with Backtrack.
When I install the ISO with Unetbootin and reboot, everything works fine.
But when I shutdown backtrack and restart the computer, then it get stucks on the "syslinux" loader page.
Any idea why this happen ?
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards

I have the same problem. I'm using Unetbootin with a Bitdefender ISO (since I saw instructions for doing this, although I didn't read them in detail) and I can boot once, but the next time I boot I jsut get a "SYSLINUX" line across the top of the screen, and nothing happens. I can run everything great one time.
So what's a USM number, and how to I prevent it from changing or restore it? I have to re-write the whole ISO every time I use it right now, but I'm sure there's a better way.
