Im trying to run BackTrack 5 from a flash drive on a EEEPC 901. Im using the KDE desktop. It boots to the command prompt, I type startx and i get write errors! ALSO, I cant run anything(When it finally boots!). Ive tried a number of apps (Firefox, etc) and nothing happens!! NOT cool!! Ive seen BackTrack 3 running on a EEEPC901 on youtube so I know it can work! why doesnt version 5 work with the EEE??? Am I missing something? Does anyone have any experience with this? PLEASE can I get a bit of help here??
I'm using Gnome x86. Try to install it.
I installed BT5 on an SD 8 GB with unebootin, I have an eeepc 901, I would like to avoid installing it on a hard drive, when I get the splash screen (I also just resolution of the screen), choose the line "boot in text mode" I get the following error: EXT2-fs (loop1): error: ext2_lookup: delete inode reference: 752950.
can anyone help me?
