Macbook-Pro function keys and backlight(s)

Hi, I have searched everywhere but cannot find any fixes for certain aspects -

The back-light keys for the screen do not work.
The Back-lights on the actual keys themselves do not work.

I have seen a few posts but they don't seem to help much, does anyone know anything about this or have a working Macbook Pro?

Oww and I couldn't find disable (tap to click) anywhere and its making me sad face

Have you checked the Ubuntu Forums? I have Macbook Pro 5,5 running BT5 and got the keyboard light and F-keys working by following their instructions.
Find your model, and then you'll see what you need to do to get everything working:
