Need help installing Backtrack 5 in VMware

I'm trying to install Backtrack 5 in VMware workstation. I get to the loading screen and and quickly returned to the root login prompt. The error I am getting "error setting MTRR" Inappropriate ioctl for device (25). I'm not only new to VMware but also Backtrack and Linux. If someone could help me with this I would appreciate it.
