try to update everything by typing this in terminal
apt-get update -y
apt-get upgrade -y

WICD says I'm connected but can't get on the internet
I'm running BT5R3 (not in VMWare) and WICD says I'm connected to my Internet, but when I try FireFox, it can't connect. It doesn't say the server is down or anything, the tab just says "Connecting..." with the gray circle. I have tried it with both the internal (an Intel card) and my external (Alfa WUS2100-H-38B6) cards. The laptop is a MSI E7235.
Any help or attempt for help is greatly aprreciated!

Please post output of : ifconfig and iwconfig...
Can you ping to Router or any other station whitin the network?.
