simple question
I know this is somthing simple but Ive been through the whole rc.d file and I cant figure out how to still use "root" and "my pass word" if I auto start into the kde desktop. Is this not possible and Im flogging a dead horse or Am i retarded? what i want is to get a login prompt while on the kde desk top screen. I think its somthing in /etc/rc.d/rc.4 where it is deciding which session manager to use. I just cant figure out what to un coment

So I found a solution. Its pretty stupid but if you "adduser" like a guest account so your mom can use your BT but cant hack your porn mail.HAHA {little Joke}. seriously if you add a guest account when you log in and autostar kde it gives you a log in GUI. I really dont even Know why I carred about this as the reason I switched to linux is becaUSE i LOVE DOING EVERY THING FROM THE COMMAND LINE BUT THERE IT IS . DUMB FIX FOR A DUMB QUESTION
P.S. I love waking up in the morning and reading the newest "idiots corner" thread with my cup-o-java. Theres a new one every day. Its kinda like the joke of the day on the radio but better

I think you could also use System->Settings->System Administration->Login Manager->Convenience tab and uncheck "Auto-Login"?
No idea how you'd change that setting through command line.
