don't know what i did, but i've messed out the gnome original panel color...(i liked the original ones!!!)
Can someone tell me the original "background solid color", and "style"?

well when you right click the panel and go to properties, It seems that the default setting is set to "use system theme." The default system theme is dust, I believe.

yes,this is true, but i've messed up the colors in the theme
Anyway, if someone can post the values of those color it would be great

yes and not...i think i've ****ed up the entire theme... i've red scrollbars and white menus...don't know if there's a way to copy the entire gnome configuration/theme from the live cd...i'll "google" for a solution...

Start synaptic and re-install "backtrack-gnome-essential".
