I'm in the same boat. My m15x runs it great but alas, no injection. I'm trying to figure out how to install my Netgear WG111v2 alongside the internal Broadcom.

I have an m15x also, and my internal wifi card works perfectly out of the box, I also paid for the upgraded intel wifilink 5300 model though.

Are you able to do injection with your internal Intel wifi card?

I have an alienware m11x r2 with the same wireless card, what does linux say your card is? Mine comes back as a Broadcom 4353 (rev 01) with the lspci command. I am kinda having trouble with this card, and want to make sure it actually is the same card.

    Thanks!

Broadcom Corporation Device 4353 (rev 01) is my internal..I haven't been able to get it into monitor mode.

So i use an alpha-2000Mw and it working fine, but i think i prefer the 500-1000Mw alpha usb card there only 30$ with free shipping ebay.

what are you using for a graphics card? Are you using the new Sandy Bridge, not sure on if the GT 240M is an optimus card so i was curious. I have been having issues with my GT555M using Intel HD 3000.
