My Alien-ware M15x seems to be running BT5 KDE 64 and recognizing everything out of box, internal wifi card works haven't tried any injection with it i don't think it will anyway.
I use my alpha card when i boot up it says 2 audio devices can be removed i have just ignored it for now all the hot-keys work on keyboard so far everything with BT5 is great and working flawless thanks.

I have an m15x also, and my internal wifi card works perfectly out of the box, I also paid for the upgraded intel wifilink 5300 model though.
yup works flawlessly
I have an alienware m11x r2 with the same wireless card, what does linux say your card is? Mine comes back as a Broadcom 4353 (rev 01) with the lspci command. I am kinda having trouble with this card, and want to make sure it actually is the same card.
Thanks!
what are you using for a graphics card? Are you using the new Sandy Bridge, not sure on if the GT 240M is an optimus card so i was curious. I have been having issues with my GT555M using Intel HD 3000.
