Why is getting (or importing) the GPG key not allowed? You can (could?) freely get it for BT4 . . . why not 5?
Was it just back in Nov2010 . . . can we get it now?
I'd really like to get the tools in my Ubuntu distro.
Please HELP!
if your ubuntu machine is still running 10.04 anyway, you may find this rather helpful. read the last post in the thread.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1761143 ,re: using synaptic/software center to use the ubuntu main repo and adding into a backtrack hd installation; rather than attempting to add the backtrack repo to ubuntu.
hope this helps.
i ve switch to another distro because Ubuntu 10.04 is rather buggy (random lag) and now i am quite used to it
IMHO it doesnt serve the purpose of being a pentest distro if i install office n other non-pentest related software in backtrack
thanks for your help i do appreciate it
