    Default Virtualbox resolution

Using Gnome 32 bit on Virtualbox:
    I'm stuck at 800x600.

I followed a tutorial and edited /usr/share/xresprobe/xorg.conf but no luck

Any help would be great! I'm new to virtual box - I always used parallels

I'm running the same setup - Gnome 32 bit on Virtualbox. I didn't have to edit the xorg.conf file. Have you installed the Guest Additions? I installed BT5 3-4 times now and the Guest Additions will allow you to set different scree resolutions. I'm running it as a persistent install.

Before you can install Guest Additions you'll need to prepare kernel headers:

    http://www.backtrack-linux.org/wiki/...Kernel_Headers

After that you should be able to install Guest Additions.
