HELP getting my wg511v2 wireless card to work

i have just bought a wg511v2 wireless card by netgear and i cant seem to get it to work. any help would be appreciated greatly

it's far from being the best card....

it's based on realtek chipset...........

Realtek 8187
rtl8187+patch
Supports all attacks including fragmentation and ska. Power levels are not properly shown without the patch. Managed mode has some quirks like trying run at 54MB regardless of rate setting. Speed must be reset after connecting.
