Acer Aspire 5100 ATI Problems...

I am currently having problems booting my Acer Aspire 5100 with BT2. I've never had problems booting with this thing, but I want it to play with it on my new lappy .

But for some reason it won't boot. I at first got the "No Screens Found" error message, so I installed the ATI driver module. Still didn't work. I tested the same USB stick on two other PC's and it worked perfectly. But doesn't work on my laptop...

Can anybody help me here??

PS: I want this REAL bad because I am going to Brazil for a month and I want to just wardrive around.

dunno if this will help, I had ati problems myself couldn’t start the x server ………used vmware player from windows… works like a charm
