I have the exact same setup as u and the same problem. If you run airmon-zc instead of ng it works. But wireshark doesnt pickup the wlan0 or mon0. Dano why
Hey,
I just updated from BT4 to BT5.
I'm using a USB-Stick to boot BT.
With BT4 "airmon-ng" I get "wlan0 intel 4965/5xxx iwlagn"
when I try the same command in BT5 it does not give me any answer it's just stuck.
Does anybody has an idea how to fix that problem?
Thanks

I have the same wireless cardairmon-zc is the future replacement of airmon-ng
Use airmon-zc start wlan0
do not use airmon-zc stop wlan0 like you see in the aircrack-ng tutorials on their website, as it will kill wlan0 and you will not be able to control the adaptor.
As far as I can tell it looks like someone was lazy. or someone didn't bother to include a failsafe like the old airmon-ng then again it's still in devlopment.
Thanks,
is it possible to use Gerix-WiFi-Cracker-NG with airmon-zc??
