    Default Intel HD graphics

I have Acer Laptop with Intel HD graphics and I have installed BT5-GNOME-64 which installed fine. First time I started it up and made it to the startx and then a black screen and that is far as I can get.
I also have BT5-GNOME-64 on a USB which would not start at first, I edited the isolinux.cfg had to change splash to (splash nomodeset vga=791 to text splash nomodeset to i915.modeset=1)on USB and now BT5 starts on USB. My hard drive install will not start any ideas?

Mybe you have already fixed it but i will post a solution anways. (better lat than never)

    1. Boot your machine and after you login (don't startx) but type: "vim /etc/default/grub"
    2. Delete "nomodeset" basically just leave text spalsh vga.... without nomodeset
    3. save and close vim by tyipng ":wq"
    4. type "update-grub"
    5. type "shutdown -r now"

you should be cool and the gang login and startx
