    Default TP-Link TL-WN321G and TL-WN821N

The following wireless USB dongles have been tested on Back|Track 5 and they are all working perfectly out of the box.

They are all working flawlessly on Virtualbox 4.0.8. However, the USB 2.0 feature does not work on them.

    TP-Link TL-WN321G 54Mbps Wireless G USB Adapter
    TP-Link TL-WN821N 300Mbps Wireless N USB Adapter

    For your information.

    Edit:

Forgot to mention, both dongles support injection.

Yesterday I tried to work with Backtrack 5 2R, but it doesnt work on my system. I have dell 610d with intergrated wi-fi card. Have you tested TP-Link TL-WN821N on Backtrack 5 1R, Backtrack 5 2R or Backtrack 4 ?

    Thank you

Hi, I am using the TP-Link TL-WN821N, I am new to Backtrack so I decided to use gerix to begin with. I've followed some tutorials for WEP encryption but it doesn't receive Data packets "fast" enough(I've got around 200 in 20 min) Can someone explain me why? Injection is working fine, signal is OK since I use my own router (-57 db), I am not using BT in a virtual machine. Thanks in advance.
