I'd consider it quite strong. It could take some time to decrypt since it contains special chars, upper and lower case chars and numbers.
The risk might be more that you forget this password![]()
Hi guys,
I'm a noob with BT and Linux, and I don't plan to get involved very much. I want to know how good is this password:
C^0k0!adn0Ml3k03N@jdo8r0DaS3P13Na5abajl3&T3raNaDrc-anj3M@7r1X%#
Can it be cracked easily and how long would it take to do it(so I know how often to change it), or if it is weak how do I improve it.
Thank for your comments

True that. You can always dl this excel template that will try and calculate how long it would take to brute force your password using a "home computer" (sorry, don't know the exact specs).

That of course does not take into account multicore/processor machines. Or someone leveraging Amazon's EC2 GPU Instances...
woooh..... that is sort of "long days and nights cracking"![]()
The only way I would consider this a weak password is if you wrote it on a post-it note and placed it on the monitor
Or posted it on a pen-testing forum. I just put it in my password database. LOL

I wouldn't even consider it weak if you had put it on a post-it note by the computer. I'd make typos.
It's weak now that you revealed it to the whole world. But alter it a little bit and you're good to go.
No it probably doesn't but what are the chances that some random attacker is going to bother using EC2 against some random AP? It's highly unlikely that he'd be targetted for an attack or that anyone would waste resources on such an attack. The average home user has nothing but CC and SSN detail worth stealing (I don't care about pics of your aunts birthday) and it's much easier to get those via a key logger or dumpster diving.
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
Just added to my wordlist. Thanks !
