Where in my post i mentioned this.(And I've never seen an AP supporting only n standard !)
As i stated in my earlier posts for driver/firmware programmers is not so difficult to write custom procedures which prevent fake authentication when real client is actively connected also signal strength measurement can be use to fight off fake authentication. As long as you do not have access to AP driver/firmware code you must take into account that some kind of countermeasures are used by AP.You don't need to know that since 036H is only b/g compliant

I didn't say otherwise, but what n standard has to do with AP countermeasures ?
Maybe I misunderstoood you !
( I was merely stating that 036h is only b/g compliant, so I don't know what an n compliant AP should have to do with the hardware, but again, I might have misunderstood)
Running both KDE and GNOME BT5 flawlessly. Thank you !
OP, what exactly are you trying to do? You said the data rate goes up quickly? So injection is working and you're receiving ARPs? Why are you worried about aireplay claiming fakeauth failed if everything is working?
Anyway, if that's not the case, make sure injection is working by running "aireplay-ng -9 mon0"
Fakeauth will fail if injection isn't working.

There is ongoing research in the field of AP protection against variuos spoofing and fake auth attacks (serach google scholar) so i was simply stating that maybe some vendors implemented various software procedures in order to fight of spoofing attacks.I have a little background in driver programming (windows only) and you can do almost everything with received data (ethernet frames or 802.11 frames) you can dissect frames, extract bitfields, compare values or create your own modified frames (linux is better suited for this) in windows you must hook ndis library. As you can see and i hope understand it should not be a big so hard for the experienced programmer to implement custom routines in the AP softwareI didn't say otherwise, but what n standard has to do with AP countermeasures
which can simply protect the AP against various spoofing attacks.
Read google scholar you will find a lot interesting info about the wi-fi security.

Try other attack methodes. My router counters fakeauth, but interactive method attack pwn him5 mins and game over.
Also you have to be on the same channel
It can't be going up that quickly, only 12,000 in an hour?OP, what exactly are you trying to do? You said the data rate goes up quickly? So injection is working and you're receiving ARPs? Why are you worried about aireplay claiming fakeauth failed if everything is working?
