anyway here is what worked for me regarding BCM cards.

I have the BCM4322 running on Macbook Pro 5,3

b43 wireless driver works by default

aireplay-ng -9 mon0

produces this output:

18:03:52  Trying broadcast probe requests...
18:03:52  Injection is working!

I also verified this to be working using ARP packet flooding.

I can confirm that injection is working on the late 2008 Penryn model. One of the fastest cracks I've ever pulled off.

My one and only difficulty was getting everything to boot. I had to use nomodeset at the boot selection. Def impressed with the reach of the Macbook wireless card.....reaches greater distances than my cards with an external antenna.

Ok, so this card can indeed support inject, but I'm experiencing a few issues:

No power level reading while using Airodump-ng
Almost all detected clients are displayed as (not associated)
Aireplay-ng frequently says that a bssid doesn't exist even when Airodump-ng is focused specifically on the same bssid

I also noticed that the wiki page says that this driver isn't supported for injection, but am assuming that this is in an experimental stage.

Has anyone else been experiencing these problems?

I'm on my main OS at the moment, but will post driver version shortly.

Yes it is not on the wiki page but I am not sure when the last time that was updated, it could be in beta stages still I really don't know.

All I know is that I have none of the issues you explained above, I see associated clients fine. I have not tested aireplay-ng too throughly or anything but it appears to be working okay from first impressions as well.

As for speeds and range, my ALFA still far surpasses it in almost every attack. But it is also nice to have a choice to try without a huge antenna coming off my laptop
