BT5 Keyboard Layouts Issue

Hello ,

installer stuck on step 3 ( keyboard layout ) ?
Tried almost everything , re-burned ISO , Downloaded again , Same problem .

GNOME 32-bit - Direct Download
KDE 32-bit Direct Download as well but same problem with this damn stuck

what's wrong with My keyboard , works fine with the USB , but wont move to the next step which is configuring partitions.

Any Idea ?

I have the same problem.

I am stuck at step 3... I tried almost all the ways.

1. tried "guess map"
2. changed the make of the pen drive(4GB) San disk and Kingston
3. Tried 3 different laptops.
4. tried GNOME 32 BIT and 64 BIT.
5.tried different types of layouts too.


Right now trying a 32 BIT version on a 16 GB pen drive.

Does Default allocation Unit size matter?


The target machine is :

ASUS 1015 PEM, (a netbook with a gig RAM)

Could someone help us here.

I tried installing ubuntu, and I happen to find this error.
If someone could help me with this, would be glad.

I am not able to find a good solution though.

I have this problem too...i think its pen drive problem on internet is many of bugs like this and many if this is in bugzilla of ubuntu (or similar system they have). I have 4gb Emtec and have same problem.. i try change Flash and write if is ok :/

Yes for me this solved - change pen drive...

Doesn't worked - 16GB SanDisk with U3 and 4GB Emtec .... but working 4GB Kingstone
