I can see like over 20 AP's but zero clients.
    Wep, wpa, wpa2

Well one client and it was "hpsetup": I think a printer?

I cant crack WEP with this driver. Only injection test is working.

    I'm having the same problem:
+ Injection test successful (on mon0)
    - No clients, #data

However, when I run lspci I am shown a:
    Broadcom BCM43224 Network controller
Curiously, though, I also have this:
    Atheros Communications AR8132 Ethernet controller.

Does that make sense? I always thought that I had an AR9285 wireless card...

I have the same issue, the test runs great. But when I run aireplay-ng --fakeauth 0 -a FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF -e xxxx mon0 I get the message telling me the attack was unsuccessful. I have also noticed AUTH stays blank for WEP security points in airodump-ng instead of saying OPN. Anyone else having a similar problem, or able to ACTUALLY inject?

hey all i am very new to all this but have managed to follow a bit of whats going on :>, i have a broadcom bmc43225 wireless card and like others i have noticed that i am receiving no data packets when i type

    airodump-ng mon0

after searching the net for hours i have found this thread the most helpfull and was wondering if there was a patch or some sort of fix for this issue with the brcm80211 drivers

    packet injection test passes
    i get association successful with aireplay-ng ---fakeauth 0 -a xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx mon0
and all commands for hacking wep seem to go fine other then the data packets

i am using the latest gnome bt5 on a usb drive

    thanks in advance

    paul

Talking Re: Broadcom BCM43224 injection is working

    Hey,
I can confirm this. I am running a broadcom b43 on BT5 and have successfully attempted injection (ON MY OWN NETWORK) and it has worked. However I can only run airodump once or else it stops working. Anybody have any ideas as to why? That aside my Broadcom b43 works with wicd and can successfully access wireless.
