Default Someone has the AirSSL-Script running under BT5 ?

    Hi @ll,

someone has the AIRSSL Script from the BT4 Forum running under BT5 ?

    -> http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...airssl-sh.html

SSLStrip Path isn't correct and SSLStrip itself seems to be broken in v.0.8.
No FakeAP is created here and the script ends up with an Error:
    Code:
    line 179: [: =: unary operator expected
    Thanks & Greez

You should write the author instead of opening a tread here, since this has nothing to do with Backtrack itself.

Ha! As if! Do you have any idea how hard it is to edit/modify a script!

BeNeDeLux you have to do the following:
    1. cd /pentest/web/sslstrip/
    python setup.py install
    this makes an executable sslstrip

    2. apt-get install dhcpd3-server

I did this myself on a BT5 live-usb. Everything runs with no errors. My client machine connects to the host.
But... I can not get to visit anything with my browser nor can I ping anything. The funny thing is that my skype works with no problems and every Virtualbox machine on the client can surf normally (????).

Can anyone please help me or give me any suggestions?

I know I should post on the original thread, but for some reason I can not yet post anything there.
I just registered in the forum today. Perhaps that's the reason.

    Thank you all in advance.

I'm still stuck with this error:

    [+] Configuring forwarding tables...
at0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
    SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
at0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device

at0 is created by airbase-ng. If it's not there, then airbase-ng or a step it depends on may have failed.

I had same problem. It is not beautiful, but i did next:

    1. sudo nano airssl.sh

And add this line to the section with iptables rules

    2. iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING -i at0 -p udp --dport 53 -j DNAT --to-destination <DNS_Server_IP>

The ptoblem with redirection dns-requests in iptables. But how do it normaly I don't know)
