Is there any software that allows me to view everything connected to me network/network details in backtrack 5?
First time I've used linux so sorry if it's a stupid question.

use Autoscan
netdiscover -i " interface"
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
If you're new to Linux why would you pick a specialized distro like BT? It would make much more sense to use Ubuntu or something like that.
There is no big red "H4x0r 1t n0wz!" button.
In addition there are lots of threads with regard to how to setup your networking and get related info.

I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
