Hi, I have a small problem and need help to configure the VPN connection.
Followed these steps to configure
In Terminal, install openvpn packages with apt-get install network-manager-openvpn.
Restart the network manager with restart network-manager
Run wget -O /etc/openvpn/ca.crt https://vpn.cjb.net/openvpn/ca.crt
Open the Network Manager on the menu bar.
Choose add and select the OpenVPN connection type, and click Add.
Enter CJB.net VPN SSL for the Connection Name.
Enter vpnproxy.cjb.net for the Gateway
Select Password and enter your login credentials.
Browse and select the CA Certificat we saved
Choose Advanced and enable LZO Compression.
Apply and exit.
Connect using the Network Manager.
but I can not connect or come out in this connection wicd network manager
Some other way to configure my VPN connection or some other client?
Any help will be welcomed and appreciated. I have read everything I could, I checked the forums, including 4 and backtrack backtrack 3 but I can not configure or start the VPN connection.
Even I have considered changing as the network manager in gnome ubuntu Festy .... but are the ideas of despair, so I turn to the question and the new theme.
Thank you very much and great job all the new bt5.
No one else can shed some light on this issue to help me?![]()
