surprised that hydra wasn't compiled with libssh capability, hoping someone feels kind enough to include that

That's strange, it's working fine here, and I'm using the exact same syntax as you. I'm also running version 6.2. What d.e. and architecture are you on? Im running gnome 32.

Was working fine for me but I upgraded Hydra and rebuilt it anyway with SSH support.
