I just couldn't get mine to work, running a Toshiba L300 with BT 5 KDE 64bit, I tried everything. In the end a little Firefox add-on fixed it for me. Try installing Flash-Aid 2.0.8 if you can't get your issues sorted out it works on 32 & 64 bit Linux (believe me I installed restricted extras, medibuntu as well as the fix from "Sickness" the whole nine yards).
Fix for me and easy-peasy to boot -- Flash-Aid 2.0.8 - How to install> open Firefox> Tools>add-on's> search for Flash-Aid 2.0.8 dl'd & installed - restarted Firefox.
Opened add-on's again> under Flash-Aid 2.0.8 hit preferences - did the test> came out good. Then> hit execute > did it all for me>purged old> installed new> restarted Firefox.
>> Working Flash!! Seriously good little add-on, very happy indeed.![]()
ya thanks alot,,
i dont know but i feel bt4rc2 is better than bt5 x64 ... this release is too bad![]()
I followed sickness directions, but when I get to the last two commands I get this...
Same thing happens with flash-aid.Code:root@bt:~# mkdir ~/.mozilla/plugins mkdir: cannot create directory `/root/.mozilla/plugins': File exists root@bt:~# mv -f libflashplayer.so ~/.mozilla/plugins/ mv: accessing `/root/.mozilla/plugins/': Not a directory root@bt:~#

I had a similar issue. all i had to do is copy the .so file to this directory usr\lib\mozilla\plugins. (make sure your are looking at Filesystem\usr\lib\mozilla\plugins - not home or Root)
the tutorial sickness posted helped me out
I've tried all of the tuts, but its still not working. I have the plugin in the FireFox plugins folder and everything but its still not working. Any suggestions?
