Try changing just the wallpaper and not the theme itself.
Hello All,
I know there are numerous posts explaining how to change the desktop theme herein. They all end with someone advising the person who is stuck to try:
Settings > System Settings > Icon Desktop Theme > Get New Theme (if that's what I want, and it is) > Install (theme wanted)
That's where I get lost: after choosing the the theme I want there are no other steps involved . . . I click "install" it then shows up as having been installed, then what?
After choosing the theme I want it does not 1) change and 2) does not show up in the list of themes where normally I see options like, "Oxygen", "Oxyzone", "Volatile", etc.
What is the true secret to changing the theme when having installed Backtrack 5 with KDE?
At the end of the day I would like to change the standard red colored image of: << back | track 5 with the sea of conero as was available in previous versions of Backtrack.
Any help much appreciated.
Try changing just the wallpaper and not the theme itself.
Thanks you! That worked!
