Hi all,
I am quite new on BackTrack and I experience a little problem.
I installed the 32bits gnome version of BT5 on my Asus N71JV in dual-boot with Windows7. When I boot BackTrack, I can log in, but when I execute startx, i get a black screen with one of my leds (sometimes the capslock one, sometimes the one for the HDD... it depends) flashing... And that's it, I am forced to reset my computer...
I have a chip intel HD and a Nvidia GT 325M with the optimus technology
Does anyone have an idea ?

Plz linux gurus i really need help with this.![]()
That problem is caused by the Optimus-Technology.
You should look into your BIOS-Settings, there should be a possibility to deactivate one of your graphic cards. If you deactivated one, everything will work fine, I promise![]()
