Hi!

I am using a Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8180 wlan adaptor.

aireplay is working well - i can fake-connect and inject.
But i if i start airodump-ng i get the following error:

Error setting monitor mode on wlan0

somewhere in google i found the advice to try this:

Test #1
switch-to-hostap
then
airodump-ng -w /tmp/test wlan0
or
airodump-ng -w /tmp/test wifi0

Test #2
do the same with the other driver
switch-to-wlanng
then
airodump-ng -w /tmp/test wlan0
or
airodump-ng -w /tmp/test wifi0

hope it helps
but switch-to-hostap does not exist and i have no clue.
If i start ubuntu dapper drake everything works well with patched drivers.

Any advice?
