Default username and password (root password)

I unchecked "lock screen" in the power management settings then did 3 hours of scripting and closed my lid. Now I cant log back in to save the work to another drive. If I turn it off I lose everything. Is there another way to get in there?

You can try to switch to an other console and see if that helps (alt+f2).

type it
login:root
password:toor

then it logs into root then type stratx and enter
then it opens graphical screen.

I just booted up a BT5 x64 on my laptop, so I am at the KDE login prompt, it is asking for a username and a password.
I tried the well known root/toor but didn‘t succeded. Also tried root/(blank) but that isn‘t it either.
So if anyone can just post the correct username/password combo I would be really grateful.

default username is: root

default password is: toor

dont type login instead type startx and you will not need to login
