im also having trouble with this, I suspect it has something to do with making a sym link to the flashplayer.so file thats included in the square download

Spot on sickness works perfect. Thanks
To me, i just installed first ubuntu-restricted-extras then download flash on adobe and works fine.
apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
then download flash here >> http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/com...nux_%28.deb%29
then: dpkg --force-all --install install_flash_player_10_linux.deb
Sickness, I have tried utilizing your guide but I am having no luck implementing it.
The big issue I see is where Adobe has updated their flash to 11. The links you provide no longer function as intended, and file names are naturally different.
I attempted to install the Flash 11 in the same mannerisms as your guide and have not had any luck.
Well I will have to check it, not sure exactly what issues you are having![]()

Hello to all!
My first post here!
I've found ONE OF THE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS.
1) apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
2) Find install_flash_player_10_linux.deb with google and download it! (THE STEP MISSING, BECAUSE OF THE NEW VERSION; WITHOUT .DEB; BUT STILL AVAILABLE IN SOME PLACES)
3) then: dpkg --force-all --install install_flash_player_10_linux.deb
It worked for me!!!
