How did you transfer it from you desktop to the sdcard? My sdcard is formatted in FAT32, which can only transfer a max of 4 gigs. The unzipped file size is 4.88 gigs. Too large for FAT32 to accept. So I formatted to ext3 and then everything got interesting. I wrote my sdcard to /mnt/sdcard/ and it totally messed up my camera and gallery. So in short I am giving up for now, may try again at a later time.
got bt5 it running on my viewpad 100s (advent vega) with cm7 . issues with the loop device. next step get network running
more on the viewpad .. all good ... runs quite well.....

Hey guys, there's a modified img over at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1074169 that works. I'm running bt off my Atrix right now! It's a little wonky, but it boots at least. Still figuring out what does and does not work.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
I was about to post the same link.
ohk here is the reason why thing's get a little messy.
the decompressed image is 4.8 GB which is way over the size on single file per vfat (FAT32) standards... so you need a fresh image with less size.
if you check the image occupies only 2.1 GB of space rests is just slack.
you can check the attached log file on first post that contains detailed instructions on how to get it reduced.
just got bt5 up and running on my n900 through vnc on maemo, works o.k. but a standalone o.s. running from boot off of an sd would be much much better! still trawling the net to see if its a possibility
After several days of trial and error ,and after using the modified image, I was able to get it running on my LG G2x. Networking works fine. It took me a while to get the GUI working, but it is fully functional. I haven't had time to fully test what works/doesn't work, but I do know that it runs plenty fast (especially on the tegra dual core). I don't have a lot of experience on ARM devices, but if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask and I'll help the best I can.
