Desktop Environment freezes during loading desktop

Hi to all, i'm running live cd on different pcs and only on one of this i have a trouble: during the initial start up of the desktop environment the kds freezes meanwhile it is "Loading desktop".
Computer becomes locked i can only reboot.

I don't know how provide a deeper information, so, if someone is interested and he can explain me how to track the problem i'm happy to help bt community.

BT4 needs a DVD, have you checked if your dvd is corrupted?

Some specks of that computer would be nice.

you may have some other operatingsystem in that computer use it. Is that a laptop? what is that graphics card (ati, nvidia other)

Hi halfdone,

as i wrote, such problem appears only on one pc, booting the same dvd that i use in many others.

This is the configuration:

Pc Desktop
CPU: sempron 2800+
RAM: 512
MB: Asus kv8-mx + Video card integrated
HDD 1 with Xp installed
