Default Wifi USB card (Belkin F7D1102ed) in VMWare and Monitor mode

    Hi

I tried using the Monitor mode with my USB Wifi card but it doesn't work
Is it due to the fact that I'm running BackTrack on VMWare? Could the VMWare tools prevent all modes to be available?
Or is this a limit of my USB Card?

    thx

You can start by giving more details, basic commands to troubleshoot and their output, ways how you tested the card on Backtrack, etc.

um search for posts on vmware and USB, you have to make vmware connect to the USB directly and disconnect from the host OS.
