problem with frequency 5.8 ?

i buy ALFA AWUS051NH ! ( RT2770/2750)

it's working on backtack and packet injection but i don't see wireless networks in 5.8 GHz ?

it uses RT2800usb Driver and when i enter airmon-ng - show RT2770/3070



i using backtrack 4 r2


wha'ts problem ?

That's easy : the zone you're set to doesn't support those channels. Change the zone with "iw reg set".

you should know that wireless and bluetooth TX/RX frequency range is 2.4 Ghz. 5 ghz and above that is Wimax freq range some body correct me if i am wrong...see this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency_allocationhappy hunting
