Change keyboard style from console.

I have searched the forums but haven't found this problem which I thought would be common, so I post it.

I'm from Spain and I hate having to start the xserver (startx) to change the keyboard layout to spanish, because sometimes I just want to do some simple things that doesn't require starting the KDE desktop but I have to start it to chage it. So my question:

How can I chage it from the console?
