I uncommented the redir commands in the etter.conf file for ip tables and now i think i kind of screwed up my system, well its not really that bad because when I recomment them and I do an ARP poison then I get it poisoned but I would like to use the chk_poison command to check it on my laptop. when I do however I get this error.

ERROR : 1, Operation not permitted
[ec_send.c:send_L3_icmp_echo:513]

libnet_write (-1): libnet_write_raw_ipv4(): -1 bytes written (Operation not permitted)


What I also noticed was that it would not forward/redirect packets. so the connection I poisoned basically does not work. I dont know if this extra info helps.
