Default Backtrack4 R2 Freezes when trying to connect to WAP

I have a Gateway LT3103u netbook triple booting Fedora 14, Win7, and Backtrack4 R2. Before I upgraded to R2, I had no problems connecting to WAPs, no that I have upgraded to R2 when ever I try to connect to a WAP Backtrack4 Freezes and the only way i have been able to recover is a forced reboot. Any Suggestions?

Default Re: Backtrack4 R2 Freezes when trying to connect to WAP

    What I have done:
    1) Started Network from the services
    2) started WICD Network Manager
    3) Clicked on my Wireless Access Point
    4) Added my WPA Key
    5) Clicked Connect
    6) At this point Backtrack freezes, Ie no response from mouse movements
    7) Hard Reboot

Any Help would be greatly appreciated
