    Default Intel 3945 NIC Driver problem!!

    Sytem : Backtrack 2.0 Final (HDD Install)

    ipw3945 1.2.0 install sucessfully !
    (ipw3945-1.2.0, ipw3945d-1.7.22, ipw3945-ucode-1.14.2)


    but ...

    I don't understand exactly what you are saying, Is it that the drivers are loading up on shut down or what? Please explain a little more and i'll try to help you.

    that means that the daemon is running and the SCRIPT is exiting, now run "iwlist scan" and you should see SSIDs, it's the equivalent of enabling the hardware in linux, or you can use you fav wireless app and choose your SSID of choice.

    or even simpler next time
    /sbin/ipw3945d
