WEP crack problems

So I start up the aireplay, and the data starts streaming to 100,000. Then I start aircrack, and it says I only have 441 ivs?! also when aireplay starts running the incription turns from WEP to WPA2?! Help please!
ps. I'm cracking my own system for testing, and I set it to WEP, so I dont know why it turns to WPA2
pss. ALso when it changes to WPA2 if I open a new shell and look at the networks mine is still WEP, not WPA2 but the first shell still says it is.

No the I waited till the data actually got up to 100,000 the beacons were way higher.

Once had 200.000 data packets in 3 minutes.
Once had leave backtrack on for almost an hour or more to collect 80.000 data packets, which is enough also, may be you should wait a little longer.

No, I waited for like 3 more hours after to try agian. It still said I only had 450 ivs, by then I had 3,000,000 data packets.

If you are just using the ARP replay attack, try using the chop-chop and fragmentation attacks.

it could be possible that you have done it wrong this is how i crack wep
1)airmon-ng stop wlan0 (your interface may be diffrent mine is wlan0)
2)ifconfig wlan0 down
3)macchanger --mac 00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan0
4)airmon-ng start wlan0
5)airodump-ng wlan0
6)airodump-ng -c (channel) -w (file name) --BSSID (BSSID) wlan0
7)aireplay-ng -1 0 -a (BSSID) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan0
8)aireplay-ng -3 -b (bssid) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan0
9)aircrack-ng -b (BSSID) (filename-01.cap)

you dont have to wait till you hit about 50-100k data packet mark you can start cracking anytime however if you dont crack the wep key dont stop all the konsole terminals let it keep running ( airodump/aireplay) but still use the same (filename-01.cap) when you attempt to aircrack so you dont lose the ivs you gathered
