No need to take offence, please.

What i meant is in a thread I started about boosting over 30 dBm you also posted your script, so I was under the impression you didn't read the thread at all. It actually didn't had anything to do with the thread, did it?
So, please don't blame me for this comment, Lol.

Its hard not to be a little offended. I was trying to be helpful in the other thread (I get nothing for sharing any of this stuff) I even mentioned that the script didn't belong there and apologized if I caused any confusion. I was just curious why you started this conversation in this thread. I felt your comment was slightly abusive and I called you out on it. Either way, I was about to adjust the script to fix your problem but perhaps I am not so motivated anymore.

Good luck with your issue though.

Well, as said in the other thread, I was giving a thought about doing that too, so if you're not too demotivated, we could try and do this together. Since it's not that simple I think two brains wouldn't be too much. Contact me in PM if you're interested

    Cheers!
Running both KDE and GNOME BT5 flawlessly. Thank you !

No worries - I am still rewriting the script and will share it when its done. I can't figure out why recompiling the regulatory file isn't working for me.

Cool script, I had the same idea back a few months ago but never really posted it or anything.

Pretty much the same idea, nice and simple.

I wrote a script for connecting to the network without having to open WICD. This allows me to just click one button to log on. I may post it at some point if there is any interest in it.
If possible I'd like to try this script, because when running BT4R2 inside a VirtualBox WICD does not work, giving always error of BAD PASSWORD, which of course isn't. I have tryed also a manual configuration of wpa_supplicant but sometimes this gives problems too.
    I use the Alfa 1000mW.

Well then this script is not for you. I would bet that your script doesn't handle ANY errors.

What are you talking about "precize" This script changes your tx power how much more "presize" should I get?

I put this up because someone might find it useful. If you don't understand the script then don't use it.
Well said @Scamentology .... who cares how someone wrote a script so long it works... at the least your script has some logic to it. You did a good thing here. Let's all grow and work together people.
