ath9k installing

I M VERY FRESH TO LINUX AND backtrack........

when i run airmon-ng in konsole then it shows nothing below wireless,chipset

then i myself comes to an decision of installing driver for my atheros ar9285 adapter
but does not find it..........
how to install it and download it.....
please explain in detail i know nothing about linux.

and also if there is another reason for not proper working of airmon-ng please do tell.please .............i m a new bie help me

First of all this is not a general Linux forum, if you read the Wiki you will see that Backtrack requires advanced Linux skills.
Also if you do some research you can actually see that athk9 works with injection and your card is also supported, Backtrack should work without any driver installation problems:
