Thinking of installing to hdd but had some questions.

Hello, I'm new to this and had a couple of questions. First of all, I wanted to install backtrack to my hdd because it seems that is the only way to be able to use the aircrack utilities with an internal wireless card. However, I have googled my wireless card and am still uncertain if it is compatible. My card is an Intel Wireless Wifi Link 4965AGN and my driver version is 13.4.0.139. Second, I was wondering what the chances are installing to my hdd will erase everything off of my hdd. I planned on following the tutorial on this site.

This has been covered a lot of times, about installing Backtrack on your HDD as the main OS or dual-boot.

This all depends on your knowledge, if you know which tutorial to follow and understand it, if you fail then erasing everything from your hdd might happen.
