Question All the -n options in aircrack-ng???

    Hello all,

I was reading all the diffrent options in the aircrack-ng documentation here
    Code:
    http://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php?id=aircrack-ng
    and I saw this.....

    Option............... Param.............Description

-n.......................nbits............. (WEP cracking) Specify the length of the key: 64 for 40-bit ...............................................WEP , 128 for 104-bit WEP,..etc. The default value is 128.

    And I was wondering...what are ALL the -n options??? like -n 64 .... -n 128 ... etc...anyone know?? Is there a -n 256 option??

    Thanks

64 and 128 are standard. Some vendors may offer 256. A standard Linksys WRT54G offers 64 and 128.

I don't know of any specific vendors that allow 256 as an option but I believe there are some out there. Not sure about using the -n 256 option, you might be better off asking that on the aircrack-ng forum or irc channel.

"WEP keys can be entered in hexadecimal or ascii. The following table describes how many characters of each type is required in your files.
    Code:
WEP key length in bits Hexadecimal Ascii

    64 10 5
    128 26 13
    152 32 16
    256 58 29
